4. Customer Responsibilities
- Access to Property: You are responsible for ensuring that our assessor has access to the property at the scheduled appointment time. If the assessor is unable to access the property due to security or other issues, we may charge a rebooking or cancellation fee.
- Accurate Information: You must provide accurate information about the property to ensure that the assessment is conducted correctly. Failure to do so may lead to delays or inaccuracies in the certificate issued.
- Compliance: You are responsible for ensuring your property complies with all relevant regulations, and for taking action if your EPC rating is below the required standards.
5. Limitation of Liability
While we strive to provide the highest level of service, we are not liable for:
- Any failure to deliver an EPC due to incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer.
- Any costs, fines, or penalties resulting from failure to comply with building regulations or energy efficiency standards.
- Any delay or failure in the provision of services caused by circumstances beyond our control, including force majeure events.
Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for the EPC service rendered.
